Acne Face Wash Comparison Review – Clean & Clear versus St. Ives Apricot Face Scrub

Have you ever had a problem finding the perfect face wash to get rid of your acne?  I had a problem finding one that works, as I had tried Proactive, Neutrogena, and Clearasil .  After trying these products for weeks, I decided that I needed to find another face wash.  I decided to buy Clean & Clear Face Scrub and before long my face acne started to improve.

After going through all these trial runs and seeing my face respond differently was very stressful especially because of having to be in constant contact with the public because of my job.  I was a customer service representative for a company up in Maine, but was transferred recently to Miami Beach, Florida.  When I moved down to Miami Beach, I started to notice once again my acne starting to act up again due to the heat.

The heat and humidity was causing me to sweat more and my face became oily and filled with blackheads.  Clean & Clear worked amazing for a long time until I moved down south and then my acne started acting up a lot.  When my acne really started acting up again, I was really self conscious so I bought a new face wash to try.

The new face wash that I bought was the St. Ives Apricot Scrub.  I was looking for a rough scrub that actually felt like it was washing my face.  I didn’t like the face washes that are smooth or that just stick to your face.  I felt like the scrubbing beads in the wash actually work better than the washes without them.  Once I was using the St. Ives Apricot Scrub, my acne started showing improvement within the first two days of using it!

Another reason I love the St. Ives Apricot Scrub is that is actually smells like fresh apricots unlike many other acne face washes that smell absolutely like chemicals.  I know that I don’t like smelling like a chemical reaction, but love smelling beautiful and clean at the same time.  Many people will argue that each face wash works better with every person, but if you are wondering where to start, I would recommend St. Ives Apricot Scrub.

I use after shave balm from neutrogena. It works better then proactiv and murad and leaves my skin clean and clear. It is also much cheaper at about $4 for a bottle that lasts several months.
