FreeCreditReport.com Scam Offer – Don’t Be Fooled By Getting Your Report For $1

I have ordered free credit reports for the last four years but this year saw the offer saying “Get Your Instant Credit Report & Scroe for $1.” in large letters. I don’t really care what my credit score is, but was curious and thought I had nothing to lose at $1 for the reports I needed AND the credit score.

DO NOT BE FOOLED BY THIS SCAM. I WILL NEVER USE THIS WEBSITE AGAIN!

I decided to get the report and credit score for $1. Along with the the $1 I was billed $29.95. I did not realize I was also ordering a trial membership (my bad) but when I reviewed the website saw that this was a NO RISK offer and I immediately cancelled my trial membership and requested a refund of the $29.95 I received confirmation of my cancellation, but they refused to refund the $29.95 saying it was not a part of the membership but rather a charge for the reports/credit score with had been advertised for $1…..so where was the $29.95 charge hidden? I have not been able to fine it. MAJOR SCAM!!! $29.95 is not RISK FREE!!!

Only stupid people will be charged more than 1$ from freecreditreport.com . They really give you FREE CREDIT REPORTS and from the website you will have option , to GET your FREE CREDIT REPORT for 2days NO MEMBERSHIPS attached or sign up for the 7day trial period .

It is CLEARLY STATED ABOVE THE PAGE that the whole 7days will be free and IF YOU DO NOT CANCEL w/in those 7days that’s the only time you will be billed for the 1st monthly membership fee . SO HOW STUPID CAN A PERSON BE ? to not read these stuffs first before signing up ?

Even though you got charged 14.95$ is so affordable and the membership is very beneficial . They help us monitor our credit reports from the 3credit bureaus . We also get to have UNLIMITED access to our experian report and score .

29.95$ charge ? totally NOT A SCAM , that is only charged if you chose to view you 3BUREAU REPORTS AND SCORES , you will be asked for the Creit card number where you would like to be charged befor you click submit . and IT IS VERY CLEAR THAT THE CHARGE WILL BE 29.95$ FOR VIEWING 3 BUREAU REPORTS AND SCORES .

my whole family is enrolle with the membership and we’ve been members since 2009 . keeping our reports an score in good standing . ONLY PEOPLE WHO ARE STUPID ENOUGH TO READ GETS UNWANTED CHARGES , duh .

I have to agree with the above posted. You have to be stupid. It clear stated I will be charged $12 a month after my 9 day grace period. I even called to make sure because I signed up for the Acai diet pills & they were charging me for 2 items I didn’t know I had ordered. So I called the CSR line & they told me, a. I had til the 22nd to cancel, ( I set my alarm to cancel on the 20th) b. do NOT click the get your 3 reports or I would be charged $29.95. As far as finding the CSR number…. too easy. Go to home page & look at frequently asked questions. One question is how to cancel the membership. They have a number listed there.

Not sure I am going to keep it or not, but it isn’t a scam. Honestly, I just wanted to see my credit score for free. So I will probably cancel it at the end of the week.

No there is no mention of a 29.95 charge when viewing your credit reports. I went through the entire website again and there is no mention. I refused the offer to see the 3 reports. I only clicked on “my report” and there was no asking for a credit card or anything else.

    TOTAL SCAM.

    IT REALLY PAYS TO READ!

First is that you need to make sure you know what you are signing up for. You really can get your REAL FREE credit report from the website fcr.com. How can that be possible? EASY! Just follow this statement, “READ EVERYTHING BEFORE DOING ANYTHING.

Second, people may be thinking that FREECREDITREPORT.COM is same as the government site ANNUALCREDITREPORT.COM where they are entitled to get their free report once a year. But these two websites are totally different from each other. just consider the websites’name…duh!

Also, people are accusing this website is a scam but the truth is, they are just taking advantage of the product that the website offers. yes, they can get their FREE CREDIT REPORT on FCR.COM and they are also given the option, again “OPTION” if they would also like to view their other 2 bureau reports and scores. And there is always this payment information telling them that they will be billed for that specific amount of 29.95 if they will continue ordering that. Lemme repeat that…THAT IS AN OPTIONAL PAGE AND PEOPLE ARE GIVEN THE PRIVILEGE TO REFUSE OR SAY NO. That way, they will not be billed for 29.95. The website is following strict internal guidelines to make sure that their offers are being understood online.

If there’s something that you are confuse on the site, their customer care is just a phone call away!

You may be hating FCR.COM website but i believe this site has MILLIONS OF SATISFIED MEMBERS who don’t need to post their comments online.

    So READ…READ…READ!
