, VPN and getting around the RIAA, Voltage Pictures and copyright infringement lawyers!

TorrentPrivacy VPN review

Downloading torrents is now easy and safe with! If you download torrents then you need to be anonymous and nothing is better or cheaper then! I love them and use it every day!

It seems like every day I’m hearing of someone getting sued or especially getting a letter demanding a settlement of a few thousand dollars for supposed copyright infringement (can we say extortion?). I’m also hearing about the RIAA and other similar groups or lawyers that are now instead of contacting the infringer, they are complaining to the ISPs.

Either of these is bad, one means you could lose your internet service provider (ISP) and (for your first occurrence generally you receive a very stern warning from your ISP) the other one means you’re out $1500-$3000 if you decide to take a quick settlement offer. These all come because when you use an open platform like BitTorrent, uTorrent and others anyone participating in the actual download of an item can see all the other people in that downloads unique ISP’s.

Now this is where the law gets a little squirly and, if this issue is pushed, the copyright infringement attorneys can have their cases overturned enmass because in order to determine the ISP’a of the supposed software or similar pirates they have to have been participating in the same exact illegal download and committing the exact same illegal act. This can actually be seen as entrapment and in the least does greatly weaken any case they might have of copyright infringement.

This is why it is always better to get an attorney and fight any of these proposed extortion style settlement letters like are being sent out now by Voltage Pictures and Dunlap Grubb & Weaver. You always fare better every time if you have an attorney on your side fighting for your rights. But that’s not the purpose of this post. The purpose here is to show you how to avoid this whole mess in the first place.

What is the best way to avoid someone finding out who you are, what your ISP is, and what you’re downloading interests might be? Why it would be a Virtual Private Network or VPN. Basically what this does is it makes you completely anonymous and gives you a randomly generated or different ISP address from the VPN every time you login. This makes it virtually impossible for anyone to determine what you’re downloading and what your eyes ISP is or who you are.

If you’re looking for a VPN there is none better or cheaper then At $24.95 for three months of complete anonymity on the web or $99 for a year of the same service you just can’t beat that. You can download all the movies and music you want from whatever torrents site you wish and there’s not a thing anyone can do about it.

What they will do instead is they will go after the easier fish or prey.  Groups like the RIAA, Voltage Pictures (By the way be sure and Boycott Voltage Pictures and any and all movies they make), Dunlap Grubb and Weaver, etc… have and will continue to go after those that continue to download with no protection from the main torrent websites (BitTorrent, uTorren, Torrent Demon and others) and make millions off of them through their extortion threats and letters – “We caught you downloading our clients stuff so you pay us $1500 now or we’ll sue you…”

nobody needs to get extorted from these companies and the best way around that is to use a good, solid VPN. uses 128 bit encryption on their VPN and has more ISP’s, connections and more.  I, personally myself have used for over a year and have downloaded all sorts of software, movies, music and more and have never had a problem of any sort whatsoever.  The only thing that you will notice with using a VPN is that your download speeds will be all little bit slower, not much, but just a little bit.  Other than VPN is awesome.

In today’s day and age with identity theft growing on a daily basis and becoming a pandemic of sorts, with copyright infringement attorneys sniffing around every corner, you need the best I’ll tell you right now, if you want to be safe on the Internet and stay anonymous there’s no better way then to use the VPN at

Thanks for the great tip on Torrent Privacy and the money saving link! They gave me half off the regular price and it works awesome. It is so much easier to use then the other VPN I was using. The downloads are much, much faster. I can get around 1mb/sec. With the others I was lucky to get 50 kbs/sec. That’s a massive difference! Whereas it would take a week to download a movie, now it takes an hour or so. Thanks for the great advice and money saving link!
